Privately owned and headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio, Jeffrey R. Anderson Real Estate, Inc. is a reflection of its Founder, CEO and President, Jeffrey R. Anderson. A 40-year resident of Cincinnati, Jeff attended the University of Virginia, graduating in 1969 with a Bachelor of Arts and Science degree and a fifth round draft selection in the National Football League (NFL) draft. Following brief careers with the NFL's Washington Redskins and the International Harvester Trucking Company, Jeff returned to Cincinnati to pursue a career in the real estate industry.

In the early 70's, under the tutelage of Dave Thomas, Jeff focused his career on site selection for various clients in the restaurant industry including Wendy's, McDonald's, Taco Bell, Long John Silvers and many others. Having developed a reputation within the restaurant community as an outstanding site selection specialist, Jeff took his talents to Chi Chi's Restaurants in 1976.

After executing several successful sale/lease back transactions, Jeff was named Director of Real Estate for Chi Chi's Restaurants in 1978. For his contribution to the company's growth, and as the franchiser of Chi Chi's Restaurants along the U.S. Eastern Seaboard, Jeff and his investment group earned a 20% interest in Chi Chi's public stock. After selling his Chi Chi's interest back to the company in 1985, Jeff left to focus his efforts on building his own company.

Since the mid-80's, Jeffrey R. Anderson Real Estate, Inc. has built its reputation into a relationship-driven, award-winning retail developer with nearly six million square feet of development in its portfolio. Beginning with un-anchored neighborhood retail centers, the east side of Cincinnati is sprinkled with Anderson projects including Hyde Park Station, Anderson Station, City Station and Beechmont Station. In the early 90's Anderson moved onto larger projects, developing several regional retail centers anchored by national credit tenants including Wal-Mart, bigg's (Super Valu), Steinmart, TJMaxx, HomeGoods and Dillard's Home Store. Cincinnati regional projects include Harpers Station, Alexandria Village Green, Union Centre Pavilion, Rookwood Pavilion and Kenwood Pavilion.

In 1999, the opportunity arose to develop a cutting-edge retail concept in the Cincinnati market - the Lifestyle Center. Melding this unique concept with his site selection expertise and a "walk the talk" track record with tenants, Anderson opened Rookwood Commons to rave reviews in August 2000. As one of the first developers in the country to embrace the concept, Jeffrey R. Anderson Real Estate, Inc. continues to pioneer Lifestyle projects around the country.

Mr. Anderson lives in Cincinnati, Ohio with his wife, Darlene Tranter Anderson. Jeff and Darlene have two sons, JR and Anders, and two grandsons, Caleb and Garrett. Jeff's oldest son, JR, serves as Director of Development for the Company.
